VMS Racing extended Wheel Studs are manufactured out of heat treated SAE 8740 Chrome moly steel which has a tensile strength of 197,000 psi ( this exceeds grade 8 specifications). They are then black cadmium plated for corrosion resistance and to give you a long lasting finish and durability. These wheel studs are excellent for use of drag racing, road racing, and street/strip cars. Can also can be used with wheel spacers. Specifications: - Length: 3.25" measured from the base of the knurl to the end of the stud. - Knurled End : 0.485" - Thread Pitch : 12x1.5mm - Will exceed all sanctioning body requirements on the use of extra long wheel studs with thick-hub racing wheels. - Manufactured from heat treated high grade SAE 8740 chrome moly steel to withstand sheer loads of 197,000 psi (which exceeds Grade 8 specifications). - These feature a quick start dog end for easier starting of your lug nuts.
